I have a tendency to update this place once in few months, not sure if it's good or bad. Anyway, let's move on. Slowly, very slowly I'm getting back into drawing more complicated works, than I used to do in 2012. Seeing how my friends "evolve", and get better with what they do, was a great boost for inspiration. Okay, who am I kidding, I'm just too jealous to stay in my comfort zone, while everyone seem to drag themselves out of it, with great results. Big changes in interests and fandoms also helped take drawing more like hobby, not routine.
Speaking of fandoms, I have a question.<rant on>
Have you ever been in situation, when you're stuck in same fandom for years, and no matter how much you want to move on, some unknown "force" keeps you in it? I wish I could do it like *HamiHamHam, just say, this place is boring I'm leaving, and let go of it |:
And in case you are wondering, I'm talking about Transformers fandom.
As much as I like giant, transforming, machines of mass destruction, I can't keep up with all that happens in fandom. There are so many new characters and stories now, I can't invest too much time to "educate myself" about them. It will overwhelm me, and that little time I have |:
I do feel bad when think about abandoning my beloved fan-character tho.
And well, comic. I'll be straight here, what was AMAZINGLY GREAT IDEA year ago, now seems ridiculous, and I keep thinking what a waste of time it was. Fancomics about OC's are the worst. It's not something original (I use the term loosely), and not about canon characters everyone knows, so I doubt that it would be interesting to anyone outside small circle of people, ehehe. So, despite the fact that I already have dozen more inked pages, I'm not gonna bother with them. This is stupid.
Still, I might occasionally draw couple of fanarts, but eh. I'm not into it as before.
So yeah, if anyone has tips on "how to fight an unhealthy addiction to old fandoms", feel free to comment, or send me a note. I won't bite.</rant off>Getting back to subject of artsy stuff.
Since I'm desperate to improve beyond what I can accomplish right now, it might take a lot more time to finish every new work. Be patient with me, I upload only what I consider "fully finished work" here. If you're interested in sketches, doodles, and w.i.p.s, contact me via note, I'll throw you link to my sketch blog [little note for those who follow me on tumblr - art tag in main blog doesn't update anymore].
if you have some interesting techniques on your mind, don't be shy to share them with me, I might get interested in trying then out

Challenging myself will be helpful experience.
And I guess that's it for today.
I'll update this journal later this month, when I'll have something t announce :]
